SH2-46
is an Hydrogen -alpha emission nebula located in the constellation of Orion, roughly 6000 light-years away from Earth. It’s a rich hydrogen region giving of its bright red glow. I captured this image in September 2021 using a dedicated astrophotography colour camera using a duo-band filter.
Photographed in September 2021 with my Edge HD telescope at F2.2 using a dedicated colour CMOS camera.
