NGC 6726 Corona Australis
NGC 6726
Aka Corona Australis, is a spectacular star-forming region. located in the southern constellation of Corona Australis. Located approximately 424 light-years away from Earth. The nebula is composed of a dense molecular cloud where new stars are born, creating glowing gas and dust. The bright, young stars emerge from their cosmic nursery, illuminating the surrounding molecular cloud and casting it’s shadows. I just love photographing these dark reflection nebulas, I love the contrast they provide.
I photographed this in September 2020 using my F2.2 Hyperstar and a cooled CMOS colour camera
