NGC 4945 Tweezers Galaxy
NGC 4945
Is a barred spiral galaxy located in the constellation Centaurus, approximately 11 million light-years away from Earth. Its distinctive shape, with its elongated arms and bright core, is reminiscent of our very own Milky Way. NGC 4945 is considered an edge-on galaxy, meaning its disk is seen almost perfectly edge-on from our vantage point.
Photographed in June 2020 using my Edge HD telescope with a 0.7 reducer and using a dedicated colour CMOS camera.
