NGC 300

Also known as the Spiral Galaxy in Sculptor, is a spiral galaxy located approximately 6.1 million light-years away from Earth. NGC 300 spans a diameter of around 70,000 light-years, making it slightly larger than our own Milky Way. It features bright blue star-forming regions, where new stars are born. Photographed in October 2023 using an 0.7 focal reducer on my Edge HD Telescope and using a monochrome camera with RGB/HA filters.
