M20 The Trifid Nebula
M20 Trifid Nebula
Named after its resemblance to the fictional alien plant in John Wyndham's novel. Another Southern Hemisphere gem, located in Sagittarius. I like this object as it hosts reflection, emission and absorption nebula in the one image.
Photographed in October 2021 with my Edge HD telescope at F2.2 using a dedicated colour CMOS camera.
