M24 Sagittarius Star Cloud

IC 1284

Sagittarius Star Cloud M24

IC 1284

is an emission nebula located near the Small Sagittarius Star Cloud in Sagittarius. I imaged this celestial object because of it’s contrasting position where it lays nested amongst the stars.

I photographed this in September 2021 using my F2.2 Hyperstar and a cooled CMOS colour camera
